Green Fees per Player
All Green Fees listed below are pre-tax and are categorized based on rate classification. Riding rates include fees for one seat in a cart.
- University Rate – Includes UGA faculty/staff, North Georgia faculty/staff, Athens-Clarke County employees, active military and veterans, healthcare workers, first responders, and seniors age 55-64. Valid identification required.
- Student Rate – Includes UGA students, North Georgia students, Athens Tech students, juniors age 17 and under, and Super Seniors age 65 and older. Valid student ID required.

Annual Passes
The University Golf Course offers annual golf course passes to current faculty and staff at the University of Georgia, University of North Georgia, or Athens Technical College and retired faculty and staff of the University of Georgia.
We recommend an Annual Pass if you:
- Play at least 8-10 times a month
- Play consistently all 12 months of the year
- Play mostly 18-holes at a time
- Play most of your rounds on the weekends (Fri-Sun)
How it Works
Annual passes offer unlimited complimentary green fees during the yearlong pass period. Benefits do not extend to golf cart or driving range usage.
Eligibility
- Applicant must be a current faculty or staff member at the University of Georgia, University of North Georgia, or Athens Technical College OR retired faculty or staff of the University of Georgia.
- Valid faculty/staff identification is required.
- Applicants who meet the criteria for faculty/staff annual passes may include immediate family members under a family annual pass. The following dependents are eligible for inclusion under the family annual pass:
- Spouse
- Dependent children who are 21 years of age or younger and have the same permanent address as the applicant
- Annual pass benefits do not extend to:
- The parents or siblings of the applicant
- The spouse or children of the applicant’s dependent children
Use Period
Annual passes begin on the date of registration and expire on the same day of the following year.

Semester Passes
The University Golf Course offers semester and summer session passes to current University of Georgia, University of North Georgia, and Athens Technical College students.
We recommend a Semester Pass if you:
- Play at least 8-10 times a month

How it Works
Eligibility
- Applicant must be currently enrolled as a student at the University of Georgia, University of North Georgia, or Athens Technical College. Valid student identification is required.
- If a student has dependent family members that would like to participate, they can buy additional semester passes at the same rate for each family member.
- Each family member passholder will be charged the $15 per round fee when they play.
- Dependent family members include a spouse and children 21 years of age or younger that have the same permanent address as the student parent.
- Semester passes are not transferable. Benefits do not extend to guests.
Pass Types
The Golf Course currently offers two types of passes: a basic pass and a basic-plus-range pass.
- The basic pass provides discounts on green fees for both 9 and 18 hole rounds.
- The basic-plus-range pass provides the same green fee discounts as the basic pass as well as a discount on one large basket of range balls per day.
Use Period
- Semester passes begin on the day they are purchased and end the last day of UGA final exams.
- Summer session passes begin the day the day they are purchased and end on the day before fall semester class begins.
Pricing Structure
- The basic semester and summer session passes cost $210 up-front. After that, each round played (9 or 18 hole, weekday or weekend) costs $15, including sales tax. A round cannot be more than 18 holes.
- The semester basic-plus-range and summer session basic-plus-range passes costs $265, After that, each round played (9 or 18 hole, weekday or weekend) costs $15, a single, large range basket can be purchased each day for $5.
- Range basket fees are collected via the Select Pi app at the Range Servant ball machine located just outside of the driving range building. The pass holder will have to set up an account with Select Pi to receive the range basket discount.
All prices include 8% sales tax. Cart fees not included.

Twilight price begins after 3:00 p.m. during Eastern Daylight Standard Time and after 2:00 p.m. during Eastern Standard Time.

Family Golf Rate

Georgia Center Guest Rate
Guests of the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel receive a special rate at the UGA Golf Course. The Georgia Center can arrange your tee time and even shuttle you to the course.
