Driving Range

Our full-size driving range provides the perfect opportunity to enhance any individual’s golf game. Students, staff, alumni, and the general public have access to a full array of practice features. Practice balls can be hit from grassed tee areas to a target area that contains numerous bunkered greens. A modern short game practice area is also available, which includes a putting green and a large pitching/bunker green.

The driving range also provides the UGA Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams with one of the top collegiate practice facilities in the country. To date, the men’s team has won two national championships and a league leading twenty-nine SEC championships, while the women’s team has one national championship and eleven SEC championships to its credit.

Driving Range Ball Vending Machine

The driving range is now using a new golf ball vending machine. Customers needing assistance can ask any available range staff member for help or call the E.B. Smith Clubhouse golf shop at (706) 369-5739.

The new ball vending machine accepts credit cards or Range Express Member cards. No cash will be accepted.

Range Express Member Card

Loyalty Points at the driving range are available through the Range Express Member Card. If you currently possess a range pass card with value on it, you will need to exchange it for a new Range Express Member card that will work with the new ball vending machine. Card exchanges or new purchases can be made in the golf shop. Cards will be sold in $50 value increments and also come with a 20% discount on range basket fees.
