DawgFight Tournament

Join us every available Saturday morning* at 10 a.m. for our weekly DawgFight! This tournament is open to everyone and gives you a chance to test your skills as well as win credits toward your account at the UGA Golf Course that can be used toward green fees, cart fees, range balls, and merchandise.

Format

• Players compete in a handicapped Stableford format.
• Players are provided with a point quota based on their handicap or average score.
• Each player plays their own ball and records their gross score on their scorecard provided.
• Winners are determined based on the points accumulated and the difference in relation to their quota.
• A DawgFight handicap is established and adjusted weekly to determine quota.
• All winnings for the league fee and close-up contest are credited to your account at the UGA Golf Course, which can be used for green fees, cart fees, range balls, and merchandise.
• There is also a year-long Player of the Year points race with a year-end payout.

*There are occasions when the DawgFight will get pushed to Sunday mornings if there is an event/outing on Saturdays. This will be communicated through the weekly email list.

Price Information

• Weekday University Rate
  • Walking: $27.15 + tax
  • Riding: $38.50 + tax
• $5 League fee will be added
• $4 to compete in the close-up competition on the par 3s (optional)
